Many Christians in America are afraid of the possibility of persecution. For some, this creates great anxiety that seems to control how they behave and think when they think about the possibility of persecution. So, how are we to respond to the possibility of future persecution in a way that honors God? How do we get our anxiety under control? We will see an example of how to do this from the Thessalonian church in our passage today.
