New to Rossville Bible Fellowship? Great! You May Want to Start Here...
We are delighted that you have decided to learn about what God is doing at Rossville Bible Fellowship (RBF). RBF is a non-denominational Bible church. We are a gathering of redeemed sinners each of whom is daily in need of the grace of God. We meet together to worship God and to encourage one another in our relationship with Jesus.
RBF stands on 4 pillars of belief.
1. Proclaiming the authority of God's Word without apology (2 Timothy 4:1-5; Hebrews 4:12).
2. Boldly sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ (Matthew 9:36-38; Romans 1:16; Ephesians 6:19-20).
3. Lifting high the name of Jesus Christ in worship (Mark 12;30 John 4:23-24; John 12:32).
4. Believing in the power of prayer (Jeremiah 33:3; Ephesians 6:18; James 5:16).

Church Leadership Structure
Rossville Bible Fellowship has two leadership positions -- elder and deacon. The elders are at the highest level of church leadership. We have five elders, one of whom is the pastor. Each elder (with the exception of the pastor) serves a four-year term with a mandatory one-year break from board responsibilities. The elders serve the church by providing ultimate spiritual oversight over the congregation. They oversee the deacons and their ministries, create and oversee the year-to-year budget of the church, and shepherd the congregation toward Christ. All elders are equal in authority.
The deacons serve over a specific area of ministry in the church. We have five deacons who serve under the elder board in the following specific areas: deacon of finance, deacon of Christian education, deacon of missions, deacon of building and grounds, and deacon of caregiving. Each deacon has a team of volunteers who help him carry out his ministry.
Our deacons and elders are selected by the elder board with the help of a nomination process from the members of the church.

Membership
The qualifications for someone seeking membership at RBF are as follows:
- A prospective member must be a believer in Jesus as his or her savior, and they must be baptized after making this commitment to Jesus.
- If the prospective member is coming from a church where he or she was a member, they must present a letter of transfer or a written statement of good standing from his or her previous church.
When someone wants to become a member, he or she must simply communicate this to one of the elders, and we will schedule a time to meet with them to ensure that they meet the qualifications for membership.
A member who is sixteen years of age and older is eligible to vote at church meetings.
