Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic and Governor Holcomb’s new stay at home directive, RBF will be canceling its Sunday worship services until further notice. In addition, the Wednesday evening classes on evangelism have also been postponed until a future date.
We do not do this out of fear or panic for we know that God is still in control of the whole world and he will be in control once this virus passes away. Things are out of our control, but God is still in control. We know that God is good and merciful (Psalm 145:9) and that our lives are in God’s hands now just as they have always been (Job 12:10). Therefore, we trust how the Lord will handle this pandemic and we ask for his mercy on us and the rest of the world.
Though we confidently trust The Lord, it seems that not meeting in order to prevent the virus’ spread is the most loving and responsible action we can take at this time. Loving and serving others is one of our greatest callings (Mark 12:31). If we can best protect our church family and community by not meeting until the virus is under control, then that is what we will do. Though we cannot meet together for worship, we can dedicate ourselves to personal prayer, scripture study, and caring for the sick among us.
The sermons will continue to be posted on the church website weekly. They will be posted prior to Sunday morning. To keep up to date on what is happening and when we will meet again, please regularly check our website and Facebook page.
Pastor Chris Albin
At Rossville Bible Fellowship (RBF), you will find imperfect yet forgiven people gathering together each week to Connect to God, Others, Serving, and the Lost. We want to know Jesus and worship Him, so we study God's Word together and Connect To God in Worship. We seek to Connect With Others by growing together, supporting one another in genuine relationships though our Life Groups, and encouraging each other to follow our Lord and Savior Jesus. We want to show the Love of God to those around us by Connecting and serving in Ministries for the Lord, and because the love of Jesus has changed our lives, we seek to Connect the Lost to the message of the Gospel. Indeed, salvation is found in Jesus alone. Jesus' great love for us led Him to die for us. He paid the penalty for our sins. In Jesus alone we find hope, love, and purpose. Jesus has changed our lives and is willing to change yours. We would love to have you come join our RBF Family and hear more about Jesus' Amazing Love.
